So I finally picked up Bully for the Wii. I know I’m behind the times when it comes to gaming, but I’ve had an all consuming WoW addition for a long time know. I have found that Bully has made gaming fun for me again. The Wii is a really fun system for games like this. It has an intuitive control that means even I can do reasonably well at the game.

I feel as if my music is lacking freshness, most of what I listen to is a few years old, with a few new Top 40’s now and again added in for fun. Well, I think I need to search out and find some new a fresh music. So today I give you Rescue Me by Joshua Klipp.
Josh has an Urban Pop-flavor that sticks him my head and leaves me singing his songs at odd moments. His music has been featured on “The L Word” and he has made guest appearances on “The Tyra Banks Show.”

It seems like I haven’t been writing in my blog very much of late, which is sad, because it can be fun. 2007 has now passed, and 2008 is here. Maybe later I write a some sort of recap of 2007, but maybe I won’t, since it an be rather dull. I am looking forward to 2008. I’ve got some goal set for myself, mostly dealing with money, but also with health and general personal wellness. Anyway, here’s to a happy new year.

J. K. Rowling announced on October 19 during a Q&A session after a reading before a full house at Carnegie Hall that beloved Wizard Albus Dumbledore is gay. Apparently Dumbledore “fell in love with the charming wizard Gellert Grindelwald but when Grindelwald turned out to be more interested in the dark arts than good, Dumbledore was terribly let down and went on to destroy his rival.” That love, she said, was Dumbledore’s “great tragedy.” The audience reportedly fell silent after Rowling’s admission, then erupted into applause.
Let me just say it plain… Good for her!

Hepatica (KOS-MOS) – Yuki Kajiura (for Xenosaga III)
Todays song is number two on my iTunes most played songs. It is called Hepatica (KOS-MOS), and is the fourth mix of the song composed by Yuki Kajiura for Namco’s video game Xenosaga Episode III: Also Sprach Zarathustra, the third, and presumably final, game in Namco’s Xenosaga trilogy. Xenosaga is also the spiritual successor of Square’s Xenogears. Anyway, the song is sung by Eri Itoh. The lyrics don’t appear to mean anything.

Houkiboshi – Younha
This is the start of my Wednesday music section… I’m going to try to post a song or twofrom my iTunes play list every Wednesday
Today is Houkiboshi (roughly hoe-key bow-she, meaning Comet (or maybe Abandoned Star)) by Younha, a South Korean J-Pop singer. Houkiboshi is sung in Japanese and was the third ending theme to the anime Bleach and was her second single. It is currently the 22nd most played song in my iTunes and is going up.

Nothing weighs on us so heavily as a secret.
~Jean de la Fontaine~
One of my weekly habits it to visit a blog called Post Secret. Post Secret was started by Frank Warren a few years ago as an art project. He collects secrets from people who send them to him via post card. No only does he publish a selection on his blog (www.postsecrets.com); but he has published a selection of them in four books. The newest, A Lifetime of Secrets is avalable via Amazon.com, as are previous three.
Why am I posting about this, you might ask? I’m not sure myself, but it seems right to do so.
I’ve spent nearly an hour trying to decide what I wanted to say, and I’m no closer to it, so I’ll leave you with a video of some of the postcards.
“There are two kinds of secrets: those we keep from others, and the ones we hide from ourselves.”
